He first got introduced to this career as a young teenager in high school and went on to finish his BS in Forest Resources Management at Clemson University, and later, his MBA at East Carolina University. Travis discusses some of the difficulties of being the only African American while he attended university, leadership lessons he’s learned over the years, and the challenges of including more minorities into the forestry field.
